  Crafted with a commitment to sustainability, the packable backpack features a ripstop nylon shell made from 100% pre-consumer recycled material, certified by the Global Recycled Standard (GRS), and PFC-free DWR for water resistance. Dive inside, and you'll find the polyester inner lining continuing the eco-story with 100% post-consumer recycled material that's also GRS certified.

  Even the zippers are in on the eco-party. The YKK® zipper tape is crafted from post-consumer recycled PET, ensuring that every closure comes with a touch of environmental responsibility. All Duraflex® plastics used in the backpack are bluesign® approved, adding a layer of conscientious production to the mix.

  But it doesn't end there. From the moment your backpack leaves our hands, it's on a green journey. Our shipping mailers and labels are crafted from 100% recycled content and are curbside recyclable, minimizing the footprint of your adventure. Hang tags are not just informative; they're a statement — made with 90% recycled post-consumer waste and are curbside recyclable. Hemp twine that connects the hang tag is 100% naturally biodegradable and compostable.

  And for the final touch, both mailers and hang tags are printed with algae ink which is considered the world's most sustainable ink.

• Question: Is it waterproof?

  Our backpack tackles wet weather with practical features to keep your belongings dry in everyday adventures. While it doesn't come with an invitation to a full-on underwater tea party, it's equipped to handle rainy conditions.

  The outer ripstop nylon shell boasts an environmentally friendly PFC-free DWR, acting like a force field against water droplets. Plus, the backside is armed with PU coating, giving the shell a 1500mm hydrostatic head (HH) rating to help keep moisture at bay.

  However, like a wise wizard, we'll spill the secret — our seams and zippers, while sturdy and robust, aren't waterproof. So given our hydrostatic head rating and the lack of waterproof seams and zippers we classify our backpack as water-resistant. For extended periods in the rain or heavy downpours, we recommend using a rain cover or packing items in dry bags for extra protection.
